Meet Tegan
Tegan plays a pivotal role at Mickleham Dental as our Practice Manager, overseeing both patient care and the day-to-day operations of the clinic. With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, she brings extensive knowledge gained through her roles as a Surgical Dental Nurse, Sterilisation Nurse, Front Office Coordinator, and Practice Manager.
Her commitment to professional growth is reflected in her extensive qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Radiography), a Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services, a Diploma of Accounting, and a Certificate IV in Medical Administration. Tegan is also currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control, demonstrating her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
As an active member of SRACA Victoria and the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), Tegan stays up to date with the latest best-practice standards in infection prevention, sterilisation, and compliance. Her ongoing professional development helps ensure Mickleham Dental continues to provide safe, modern, and evidence-based care for every patient who walks through our doors.
Known for her exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and friendly approach, Tegan is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both patients and the team. She works closely with patients to coordinate treatment plans, answer questions, and ensure every visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Whether she is assisting patients directly or supporting the team behind the scenes, Tegan takes pride in helping every aspect of the practice run smoothly and efficiently.
Outside the clinic, Tegan enjoys attending concerts, camping, and spending quality time with her family. She is also an enthusiastic gamer who loves keeping up with the latest video game releases and exploring new virtual worlds in her spare time. At home, she stays busy caring for her four fluffy kittens, who certainly keep her on her toes. Huong is our Head Dental Nurse and an integral part of the Mickleham Dental team. With more than 10 years of experience in dentistry, she brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and a genuine passion for patient care to every aspect of her role.
As a Certificate III qualified Dental Assistant, Huong combines strong clinical expertise with a calm and caring approach, supporting patients throughout every stage of their dental journey. She works closely alongside our dentists to ensure treatments run smoothly while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and at ease during their visit.
Known for her warm, friendly nature and attention to detail, Huong takes the time to make every patient feel welcome, heard, and well cared for. Whether she is assisting chairside, leading the nursing team, supporting the clinical team behind the scenes, or helping patients with their questions, she is dedicated to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Outside of work, Huong loves spending quality time with her family and exploring new destinations through travel. She enjoys discovering different cultures, creating lasting memories with loved ones, and making the most of every opportunity for adventure.

Merinda is a skilled Dental Assistant with over eight years of experience and a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. She’s a steady, reliable presence in the clinic and takes pride in making sure patients feel comfortable and looked after from the moment they arrive.
She enjoys the variety the role brings, whether she’s assisting chairside or helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, and is known for her down-to-earth nature and strong attention to detail.
Outside of work, Merinda loves spending time with her family, which is a big part of what keeps her grounded and brings balance to her busy work life.
